Salary: Within the Grade 1 salary scale segment
Location: Department of Lands, Lilongwe
Qualifications
Applicants should be either Senior Assistant Valuation Officers (Grade J) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade or serving officers irrespective of grade and experience in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in either Estates Management, Land Economy or Property Management obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
Allocate plots; develop infrastructure; initiate and supervise development projects; carry out covenant monitoring; fix and review development charges; real property management, etc.

Qualifications
Applicants should be either Senior Assistant Valuation Officers (Grade J) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade or serving officers irrespective of grade and experience in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in either Land Economy, Land Management or Property Valuation (Estates Management) obtained from accredited institutions
Duties
Responsible for casework and management of the assigned technical team for allocated area; review of ground rentals levels in conjunction with Land tenure Policy Review and execution of provision such valuations; conduct market research (Real Property); conduct house training, etc.

Location: Department of Lands, Lilongwe
Qualifications
Applicants should be either Senior Assistant Lands Officers (Grade J) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade or serving officers irrespective of grade and experience in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in either Law, Land Administration or Land Management obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
Process all lease applications; process land acquisition of Government; cooperate with institutions on matters affecting land; monitor the purchase and sales of freehold land, present title deeds for stamping and registration and making search in the deeds and land registry, etc.

Qualifications
Applicants should be Senior Assistant Land Surveyors (Grade J) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade or non-serving in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in either Land surveying or Land Management majoring in Land Surveying obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
Plan execution of Cadastral tasks; supervise junior staff on both field and office work related land surveying, ensure adherence to acceptable standards for field data collection and processing, etc.

Qualifications
Applicants should be either Senior Physical Planning Technicians (Grade J) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade or non-serving in possession of a bachelor’s Degree majoring in Geography or Physical Planning obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
Conduct impact studies; analyze and interpret field data, prepare local physical development plans; undertake development control and enforcement including processing of development applications, drafting agendas and minutes and servicing planning committee, etc.

Location: Department of Housing, Rural Housing, Lilongwe
Qualifications
Applicants should be Senior Assistant Housing Officers (Grade J) working on Rural Housing Construction Projects with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade or non-serving in possession of a bachelor’s degree in either Architecture or Technical Education (teaching qualification in building trades) obtained from recognised institutions.
Duties
Control funds allocated for development projects and maintenance; prepare estimates on building projects under his/her charge; supervise junior staff that projects are completed on time and within budget, etc.

Duties

Prepare estimates for routing maintenance works for Ministries/Departments properties in the Regions; prepare cost estimates from architectural working drawings for the construction of Rural Housing and brief clients on funding requirements; verify estimates produced by supervisors in the district, etc.

Post: Chief Adjudication Officer (Grade F)
Salary: Within the Grade F salary scale segment
Location: Ministry of Lands
Qualifications Applicants should either be Principal Land Surveyors, Principal Estates Management Officers or Principal Lands Officers (Grade G) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade.
Duties
Formulate departmental policy on the operation of adjudication process; review departmental forms and precedents; advise the Commissioner for Lands on discretionary matters contained in status or provision of land documents, etc.
Note:
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be needed during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of appointment (PSR 19).
