Short project description:

We are looking for good governance experts (m/f) in on-going and up-coming projects, specialized in managing small infrastructure projects financed through disposition funds.
The following areas of expertise are of particular interest:

  • Local infrastructure development
  • Management of disposition funds and micro-projects
  • Public finance
  • Institutional development

Detailed requirements

Education:
University Degree (Master) in:

  • Civil engineering or
  • Architecture or
  • Political science / Public Administration or
  • Economics / Finance

Country /Regional experience:
North-Africa and/or Sub-Saharan-Africa

Languages:
Fluency in French and/or English (both oral and written), German considered an asset

Expertise / Profile:

  • Profound experience in technical and/or financial cooperation in North-Africa and/or Sub-Saharan-Africa
  • Team leading experience for good governance and decentralization projects
  • Experience in the areas of social, economic and transport infrastructure development or management
  • Track record in management of disposition funds
  • Experience in public procurement procedures (knowledge of KfW procurement guidelines considered an asset)
  • Sound knowledge of Public Finance/Administration and Human Resources Management
